Saving Second Base's 13th Annual Three-Pitch Tournament
"Has cancer hit home to you? Are you passionate about finding a cure for the future? I want to see a cure in my lifetime and that is why I started this tournament, to raise awareness and money to help find a cure for breast cancer. You can help Saving 2nd Base reach their goal by raising money for the CIBC Run for a Cure. We can all help knock cancer out of the park!"
Since 2010, Saving 2nd Base has been working with people around the community to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. This fundraiser has been made possible because of the support of companies and people willing to help out! By participating in this tournament your team is already making a difference!
All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation through the CIBC Run for the Cure. The money raised through the CIBC Run for the Cure will be directed towards meaningful research, education and awareness programs.
Should you decide to donate, you will help fund the most promising research and give hope to women and their families living with breast cancer. Any money raised in our community stays in our community – we are helping families right here at home.
The Tournament will be held at Turner Park (344 Rymal Road East) in Hamilton on July 20 & 21, 2024.
